    I agree that empires do eventually fade, but I don\'t know that it\'s going to happen with certainty within this decade. I think a part of Bush\'s weakening leverage is because he\'s a lame duck president and the Sheiks want to make as much money as they can on the barrel. I believe when Mcain/Obama wins the presidency they\'ll come running back to the negotiating table. The goverment is probably going to start tapping the reserves to force them to drop there prices. But I\'m hoping for the best case senario I guess...My first time commenting and I just want to thank Mumia for his informative and insightful commentary on geopolitical issues, it\'s educated and inspired me to look beyond my own worldviews.
